ABOUTME
I am a Freelance Web Designer, Developer, Interactive Media Designer or whatever you want to call it. Essentially, I enjoy designing by using both traditional methods and digital to create new and interesting Interactive pieces of work. I practise photography either to compliment a piece of work or to simply to capture the moment.
Originally from Cornwall I have now moved to Bournemouth to gain new experiences and further my studies. From my rural background I have become a big believer in an active lifestyle and often find myself taking inspiration for my work from nature.
To achieve new qualifications I am currently studying BA(Hons) Interactive Media Production at Bournemouth University where I was granted a Academic Achievement Scholarship. The course is designed to enable students to develop their potential as multimedia practitioners within the interactive media industries. Before starting at Bournemouth University I studied at Plymouth College of Art and Design where I gained Three Distinctions (Equivalent of 3 A's at A level) in Digital Graphics and Interactive Media.
Using my knowledge of web design I have also been working as a freelance web designer over the last couple of years. Working closely with clients I pride myself building not only a visually pleasing site but as accessible as possible.

A Beautiful website is nothing unless people see it, that’s why every website I build is not only designed well but is optimised for search engines. SEO can drive relevant traffic to your website through search engines. Establish clear user paths to keep visitors on the website. As well as increased sales by converting visitors into customers
WEBVALIDATION
A website is nothing if your audience have problems viewing it. I work hard to make sure that your site is accessible to everyone who wants to see your site. This means working closely on Cross-Browser Testing to make sure it can be seen in all the different browsers out there and also making sure the site is built to web standards
